I am a dedicated English tutor with over nine years of teaching experience, passionate about helping every student reach their full potential. My approach is always individualised, recognising that each learner has unique strengths, goals and areas for development.
Current role
I currently serve as the English Subject Lead at an independent school in Somerset, responsible for the delivery of English across the whole school for students aged 11–19. This role has strengthened my ability to support a wide range of learners and to develop evidence-based, results-focused teaching strategies.
Qualifications
I hold an Undergraduate degree in English Language and Linguistics, a PGCE, and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Southampton, where I was awarded a Distinction and received a Dean's List Honour. These qualifications, combined with my classroom experience, have given me both a deep understanding of the English curriculum and a strong pedagogical foundation.

Delivery & Availability
Tutoring is available online or in-person across South Somerset and Dorset, offering flexibility for students and families.
I provide one-to-one lessons as well as small-group sessions, depending on learning needs and preferences.
